The 5 Star System
We have decided to introduce a Star System for our breeders. As there are 5 health tests currently available for the WCS we are calling it the 5 Star System. Each breeder or stud dog owner, will be awarded a star for each one of the tests that they have carried out, thus making it simpler and easier to see the health tests that each individual breeder has incorporated into their breeding programme.
* Annual Eye Test
* Gonioscopy
* Optigen DNA: prcd/PRA
* DNA Tested: FN (Familial Nephropathy)
* Hip Scored
Not all the breeders do the tests in the same order and some only concentrate on one of the tests therefore their stars will correspond in colour to the test that they have done.
